Frequently Asked Questions

Getting Started

  • If you've been struggling with your relationship with food, managing a health condition, or just feeling like nothing you try actually works — you're in the right place. You don't need to have it all figured out or hit rock bottom before reaching out; if food and health feel complicated, that's reason enough.

  • All nutrition counseling is done 100% virtually, so you can work with me from anywhere I'm licensed — no commute, no waiting room, just support from your own kitchen. If you're local to Las Vegas, I also offer private chef services.

  • Your first session is all about you — we'll go through your health history, eating patterns, lifestyle, and goals so I can get the full picture before we build anything. It's a real conversation, not a generic intake form, and you'll leave with clarity on exactly where we're headed together.

Fees & Insurance

  • Yes! I accept insurance through my Fay booking link, including Aetna, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Highmark, Horizon, Optum, and many more. I'm currently licensed to see clients in AZ, CA, CO, CT, HI, IN, MA, MI, NJ, NV, NY, OK, OR, PA, TX, VA, and WI — check your coverage directly through my booking link.

  • If your insurance isn't on my accepted list, we can talk through self-pay options. Investing in your health now often saves you a lot more — financially and physically — down the road.

  • The easiest way is to book through my Fay link, which will show you your coverage upfront before you commit to anything. No surprise bills, no confusing fine print — just a clear picture of what you'll actually owe.

The Nutrition Experience

  • It's built around you, not a generic template

Cookie-cutter meal plans don't account for your GI condition, your ADHD, your work schedule, or the fact that you hate kale. Everything I do is tailored to your specific situation — because that's what actually produces results.

It addresses the root, not just the symptom

Nutrition counseling isn't about eating less or trying harder. We look at what's actually driving your patterns — whether that's stress, a medical condition, a complicated history with food, or all three — and we address it at the source.

    Consistency creates lasting change

Working with a dietitian over time means you're not white-knuckling it alone. Research consistently shows that regular nutrition support leads to better outcomes, longer-lasting habits, and a genuinely different relationship with food.

  • Individual sessions are typically 45 minutes, held weekly or bi-weekly depending on your needs and preferences. We create a consistent schedule to support your progress.

    Confidentiality

Everything we discuss is completely confidential. Your health history, your struggles, your goals — all of it stays between us. This is a judgment-free space, full stop.

    Your Pace

There's no finish line we're racing to. We move at a pace that feels manageable for your real life, and we adjust as things shift — because life is unpredictable and your nutrition plan should be flexible enough to handle that.

    Real, Practical Outcomes

You won't leave sessions with vague advice. Every appointment ends with clear, actionable next steps that fit your schedule and life.

  • Most clients start with weekly or biweekly sessions, especially in the beginning when we're building your foundation. As you get more confident and your habits become more automatic, we'll naturally space out and shift into more of a maintenance rhythm.

  • It depends on your goals, your starting point, and how complex your health history is — but most clients see meaningful, lasting progress over three to six months.

  • That's part of the process — and honestly, it's one of the most important things we work through together. There's no judgment here. Life happens, and our job is to make your nutrition approach flexible enough to follow it even on the hardest days.
